guess what, it was my birthday on the 24 Feb and I got something I really wanted for ages, a bearded dragon (lizard) :).
its really easy to feed him he only eats mill worms, crickets, veg and water.
I've got a special vivarium for him and a special container for the crickets.
I got to see him gobble down some mill worms which was really cool.

Hi, my name is Leah Chevrier and i'm 15 years old. For as long as i can remember i've loved walking in the countryside, and over the years my interests in ecology, botany, biology, animal welfare and psychology, and wildlife overall have grown greatly! When i heard about plans to create a Youth Council for the Wildife Trust, I thought it was a great idea, as it would finally give young people the chance to tell the Wildlife Trust what we really care about, in person! Since being accepted as a member, i've had loads of fun with the other Councillors, and i believe we've come up with many great ideas and plans to bring awareness of and interest in wildlife to other young people in Sussex... I also hope and believe we will continue to do this, and i can say with sincerity that being part of this Youth Council is an immensely educating and rewarding experience!

Hi, I'm 17 years old and I'm in full time education at the moment whilst volunteering as a Youth Councillor. I've always been interested in wildlife and all things nature-related! From pond-dipping to group discussions; we cover a lot at each of our monthly meetings and the Youth Council has allowed me to get to know others from all around Sussex with ideas that help to improve the Youth Council and which also contribute to the Sussex Wildlife Trust.

Hi I’m Laura! I'm 13 years old. I love playing football and going on walks in the woods. I wanted to be on the Youth Council because I love wildlife and I wanted to be able to encourage others to enjoy it too.
