Great to see the dicussion here growing - I'll be posting again later about a couple of things, but just wanted to add a link: http://www.barnardos.org.uk/what_we_do/children_in_trouble_campaign.htm
It's some info about a campaign by Barnados to try and make people believe in children and to stop demonising them - thought you might be interested as this is something we discussed at our first meeting - how the Youth Council could help address this.
